issa

My friend's name was Jesus,
A sculptor in stone
With his hands
He smiled
Breath and wine,
And his statue walked on water

Now
The sculptor is gone,
Blown like sand off a rock
The sun is empty, fire
And faceless,
The statue dances over the sea's edge
